Late last fall, I took it upon myself to give Spitfiregirl a redesign. A rebrand in fact – evaluating not only how my business looks aesthetically, but how it’s run. And now as I sit at my computer, poised to launch the new branding and website, I am reminded of a quote that has kept me motivated throughout this process…“If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough!” If there ever was a quote that epitomizes how I’ve been feeling, this is it. I am beyond thrilled that I can present the brand-sparkly-new Spitfiregirl brand!
I am over the moon about how everything has turned out, and ecstatic to share it with everyone. By the time you’ll be seeing this, I’ll be on a jet plane en route to a place I’ve never been before and an event I’ve anxiously been awaiting the right time to attend. Well that time is now!
In the coming days and weeks, I’ll be sharing more details about my rebranding journey, here and on Mom Inc Daily. Of course I could not have done it without the help of my amazing team and generous friends! That fabulous new logo? Three shouts go out to Joel & Ashley of This Paper Ship, who translated my vision into hand-crafted perfection and tolerated my umpteen revisions. An extra, extra special thank you goes to my coding wizard Otis, who has been on my team for almost seven years. I could seriously not have done all this without him. The sassy copy? Courtesy of wordsmith Julie Schumacher and my good friend Analivia. Those “holy cow-I-can’t-believe-that’s-me” photos? A dream team comprised of Edyta Szyszlo, styling by Anne Sage and hair/makeup by The Makeup Dolls. Some SEO love from Lou Storiale. And lastly, my mentors Sean Low and Brandon Englebert. Thanks everyone for all your hard work and dedication!
SO! I’d love to hear what you think of the site! We’ll have some fun new additions coming online later this month, as well as frequent updates to the blog and portfolio, so do stay in touch. And if you’re looking for me elsewhere – check me out on twitter, pinterest, instagram and facebook (we’d love a LIKE!).
