“Hummingbirds were the central theme of our wedding”, says designer Heidi Yarger. “We featured them in our collateral, and they were sprinkled throughout our ceremony and florals. They’ve always been my good luck charm, and their symbology as a messenger of love and joy was perfect for our wedding.”

Yarger chose the hearty Mohawk Superfine for the parts of the invitation and program that were inkjet printed and hand-printed on her Gocco (a small, Japanese screen printing machine). She turned to Paper Source for their palette of pinks and peaches, and borrowed time on a friend’s laser die machine to create the intricate cutout on the invitation’s cover.

“It was so much work, but truly a labor of love,” Yarger says of the design process. “My husband and friends all helped me to hone my ideas and put the pieces together. I couldn’t be happier with the final product.”
