Ruffled is one of the leading wedding blogs in the industry. They celebrate the savvy, fashion conscious bride with a collection of gorgeous & original editorials, witty perspectives, and clever DIY ideas inspiring their readers to create a wedding celebration uniquely their own. On the heels of her own 1930’s inspired wedding, the client created Ruffled as a resource for fellow brides looking for that handmade or vintage aesthetic.
With big initiatives in hand, Ruffled came to us to create three unique identities and websites, falling under the Ruffled brand. Ruffled, the main website would continue to feature original wedding content and DIY inspiration. Blue Label would serve as their forthcoming Vendor Guide. And lastly, The Loop would be an interactive, inspiration gathering site.
The Ruffled site features the daily blog, real weddings, design inspiration and a classifieds section. Being the main “face” of the brand, we based all the branding elements of this design. Filled with delicate and bespoke details, the site has a vintage, handcrafted appeal.
Blue Label ~ Ruffled’s Vendor Guide, continues the handcrafted detailing. The homepage features a clean and organized way to browse categories, and search for vendors.
Each vetted member of the vendor guide is given a custom portfolio page to highlight their best work and provide details and deals to potential clients. The website backend allowed for this functionality to be completed by each member, significantly reducing management time for Ruffled.
