Alice Padrul
Alice Padrul is a premier bridal boutique based in Chicago. Originally from Moscow, owner Alice is a classically trained fashion designer with unrivaled artistry, creativity, and experience, who creates modern, one-of-a-kind bridal couture. Targeting educated, high-end clientele, Alice was seeking a fresh start for their brand, in the form of a refreshed identity and new website.
Their previous branding – a simple font treatment – did nothing to convey the vision of the company, nor the personalized service and attention Alice gives to each client. We realized that no font would do her brand justice the way Alice would and so we created a custom identity based on her signature.
Light and ethereal were two adjectives that came to mind when viewing Alice’s unique bridal gowns. However her original website was heavy and dark. We created a new website that gives brides-to-be a personal look at the designer in her element. Featuring her hand sketches, notions from her atelier, and photos of her sun-drenched bridal salon, an instant connection is made with her work.
In addition to the identity, website and blog, we also provided remote art direction for the style and product shoots. Another of our lovely clients, Sonia Roselli, shot the gorgeous hair, makeup and photography seen on the site.
